Tricia Bouzigard, Director of Marketing, CEIVA joins host Scott Sheppard to share details about their connected digital photo frames and their new iPhone app, CEIVA Snap. Unlike many other digital frames, the CEIVA line allows you to instantly share your pictures wirelessly, over the internet, from your mobile phone, or via a standard telephone line. CEIVA also has an iPhoto plug-in that allows you to edit and instantly upload to your picture frame. CEIVA photos are stored in a secure online location that easily lets you add images, manage albums, and share them to a private network of picture frames available for a small monthly subscription fee.

Rodger Correa, Compliance Marketing Director of the Business Software Alliance joins Inside Mac to explain some interesting results from their recent poll where they asked college students around the country about their plans to purchase computer hardware and software.
Rodger explains that although about 75% said they were planning to purchase hardware or a new computer, but over 60% also indicated they knew where to download free or pirated software illegally. Rodger shares some piracy statistics, fines, and the overall impact that stealing software has on developers. He noted that one of the main factors involved in stopping piracy is education and notes that the majority of people reported they would no longer obtain software illegally once they knew the risks. Rodger also discusses the role that the Business Software Alliance plays in minimizing these global issues.
